Why Wraps are Better than Paint…

Posted by NHWraps on January 30, 2009 under Fleet Vehicle Wraps, Motorcycle Wraps, Vehilce Wraps | 3 Comments to Read

We get this question alot here at NHWraps, and we wanted to do a little clarification on the subject.

The reason vehicle, fleet and motorcycle wraps are better than paint is listed below:

  1. Wraps provide protection from the damaging UV rays of the sun.
  2. Should you not like the look of your wrap, or have the desire to change something, you can easily remove the vinyl wrap material yourself. This eliminates the cost and need for harsh chemicals, and will protect your investment in the mean time.
  3. Duplication. Say for instance you have a fleet of vehicle, and they all need to look the same. It is much easier, faster and efficient to print and apply the graphics to your vehicle. This will provide consistency in brand recognition, and since it is quicker to install wrap  than to paint an entire vehicle, your company will have less downtime.
  4. Finer details. Since wraps are printed from large, turb- style printers, we are able to get much finer details than any airbrush could ever emulate.
  5. Trendy and Cool. Vehicle Wraps are trendy and demand attention. Not only do vehicle wraps get your business noticed in non-conventional areas such as the highway, parked at a trail head, at the beach, in front of your place of dwelling, at the local store… but there is also a coolness factor that comes along with joining the “Wrap Community”. It’s similar to owning a motorcycle, or Jeep, you just seem to be in a more “elite” crowd.

Don’t Paint, Wrap!

A New Year, A new President, A new venture.

Welcome to the new! There are a lot of reasons to be pessimistic about the coming months and years. We’ve all watched our savings dwindle, our neighbors get laid off , our paychecks get stretched too thin. The Pat’s didn’t make the playoffs in spite of a reasonably good season. Sales are down from last year for many businesses. There are however, reasons for optimism. We are a nation of whiners and complainers given to complacency when the times are good. And when times get bad, we are a nation that pulls together, tightens the belt and gets working. There is a big shake up going on in industry and government right now, there will be a lot of pain but there will also be growth and stability. Many people who are put out of work by the economy will be unemployed, find new jobs, or make drastic lifestyle changes. One of the changes they will make will be the decision to follow a dream and start a new business. This is how our economy will recover. Many of the new start ups will fail, and many will succeed. Those businesses will create new jobs and keep established businesses busy supplying them with products and services. Many established businesses are hunkering down to wait it out and hope for the best. We have decided to expand our existing business, Advantage Signs, Inc., and try to increase the number of vehicle wraps we are asked to produce. This will require a new and expanding marketing effort. We will be educating our customers about the value of wraps as advertising. As the sales increase we will be adding employees to cover the work load. And we will be needing bigger space as a result of the additional work load, employees and equipment necessary to efficiently print, laminate and properly apply these graphics to our customers vehicles. As for you, the new or established business owner trying to attract new customers and get the most out of you advertising dollar, wraps are one of the most visible and appealing forms of advertising you can do. They always go where you go, they are unregulated by your city codes so you don’t need a permit or worry that someone is going to raise a stink about too many signs, and you can park in strategic spots for extra exposure. So make sure you get noticed before your competition does.
